Old Tucson

Join us in celebrating 80 years of Old West movie history April 13 – 14! We will have special alumni performances, featuring can can girls and stunt actors from years past. Plus, Sunday night will feature a screening of the 1940 classic film that started it all, Arizona! The screening begins at 6 p.m. and is free and open to the public. In addition, “43 Miles North” will be performing cowboy western classics in the Grand Palace, and youth mariachi group “Tradicion de Mexico” will be performing at the Mission set. Enjoy free cake (while supplies last) sponsored by Hughes Federal Credit Union all weekend long as we celebrate 80 years of Old West film and history.

    • Brianna,
We just had our Civil War Days last weekend. We don’t do anything with the Mexican War, although we do celebrate Arizona’s Birthday (which is tomorrow) and we offer Arizona residents a buy one/get one free admission (must show AZ Driver’s License). There will be a flag ceremony and proclamation and you’re welcome to talk to any of our historians about our history.

    • There will not be a special admission rate, but we do have our $3 off rack cards all over the city and in the Last Outpost, which saves you $3 off up to four admissions. We also always offer our senior, active military and Pima County resident discounts. We’ve put more resources into added alumni performances and free cake for the public (while supplies last!) and thought added value would add to the experience. Hope to see you this weekend!
