Old Tucson in conjunction with the Arizona Sonora Western Heritage Foundation and Casino Del Sol Resort presents Reunion weekend, an Old Tucson Signature Event, on Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 15. Step back in time and experience vintage street and comedy shows as well as new and retro musicals that celebrate Old Tucson’s origins as a film studio and entertainment venue. What better way to salute Old Tucson’s history than to unite staff from the 1960s to today in recognition of their contributions to its legacy?

Throughout the day, guests will be transported to yesteryear as they experience original shows in various locations featuring performers from the 1960s to the 1990s to today! Former and current Old Tucson actors join together to present:

  • Vintage street dramas like The Great Tucson Bank Robbery and Law of the Hip (1960s-1980s) and Raid Phillips on Ranch and Last Wish (1990s) featuring performances by some of  the original casts!
  • Dr. W.W. Weezer – An old-time snake oil medicine show.
  • A high flying stunt show reminiscent of yesteryear.
  • A scheduled appearance by Jack Young, a former Hollywood stuntman as well as Old Tucson’s original gunfighter and show developer.

The Grand Palace Hotel & Saloon will be the place for stage entertainment with a special Old West saloon musical revival by the Dance Hall Darlin’s and a Magic and More period variety show on Saturday, plus musical revues by current singers and dancers on Sunday.

Guests won’t want to miss these vintage presentations, Old Tucson historic tours, and living history presentations included with admission.

Old Tucson admission is $17.95 (adults 12 and older) and $10.95 (children 4-11) with children ages 3 and under admitted free.

All Old Tucson employees and alumni from past and present are invited to return to Old Tucson to reminisce about their days in the Old West and cheer on those re-visiting their acting days. Old Tucson Alumni interested in participating in the 75th Anniversary Reunion may visit www.OldTucsonAlumni.com or the “Old Tucson Studios Alumni” page on Facebook for information.

Old Tucson Resurrection & Reunion on March 14 and March 15 is a celebration of the men and women who have graced this old west town from the 1960’s to today.

This year’s gunfighter reunion will have gunfightin’ guys and gals recreating vintage gunfights and brawls in the streets of Old Tucson.  All new musical shows in the spirit of years gone by will give the ladies a chance to once again strut their stuff on the Grand Palace Saloon stage.
