Old Tucson and Pima County’s Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation are celebrating the 28th Annual Ted Walker Youth Day at Old Tucson!

This free educational event is open to public, private, charter and home school 4th, 5th and 6th grade students. Education components are aligned with the Core Standards and are comprised of Western Living History presentations, educational shows and information stations provided by agencies such as Pima County Environmental Education, Territory of the Arizona Buffalo Soldiers, Arizona Game and Fish and many more.

Please note: Old Tucson will be open to the public until 2 p.m., with a discounted admission price of $11.50 for adults and $7 for kids ages 4 – 11.


  1. Good Morning! My name is Denise Lopez and I am a 4th grade teacher at Our Mother of Sorrows. I have had the pleasure of attending the Ted Walker Day event at Old Tucson. I am not sure if this event is only for TUSD, I am interested in taking my class as well as the other 4th grade class.If you can please let us know if we are able to attend this event. Thank you.
