Old Tucson offers a full range of educational adventures to complement your classroom social studies, science, and history program or theater curriculum. Show your students Old Tucson from a new perspective.

Educational programs;

Your Education Admission price also includes a full day in the park to enjoy the shows and attractions.

Programs available:

Option 1.  Admission plus one educational program. Requires a minimum of 20 students.

Give students a “hands on” approach to learning & experiencing the West by selecting one of these exciting educational programs:

  • Life of a Miner – An up close look at Arizona mining and minerals.
  • The American Cowboy- “Cookie” can tell you all about bein’ boss around the cook’s fire and second in command of the trail drives.
  • Adobe Brick Making – Learn how to make your own adobe brick – the 1800’s way!  Students will actually make bricks, using the methods used to build the original buildings at Old Tucson.
  • Behind the Scenes – What is it like behind a real working movie set?  The stuntmen of Old Tucson explain  behind the camera’s eye and how movies are filmed.  Includes an exciting stunt demo!
  • Mercantile – the old west general store was more than just a place to buy goods, but served as a post office, apothecary, and a social center for the town.
