Western Heritage Festival
November 29 @ 10:00 am - December 1 @ 5:00 pm
Celebrate Western Heritage Thanksgiving Weekend!
Join Old Tucson and the Arizona Sonora Western Heritage Foundation in celebrating our roots at the annual Western Heritage Festival, November 29 – December 1! In addition to our signature entertainment, guests can experience and learn from local cultural group demonstrations. Plus, Santa will be in the Old West to help us kick-off our Old Tyme Holidays!
Special guests include Power from the Past, who will have their collection of early-day engines, tractors and equipment on display. Plus, they will be making delicious homemade ice cream with their engines for guests to enjoy, as well as making jump ropes for kids! Also in attendance are the Sonoran Plein Air Painters, who will have original artworks for sale and a “Quick Draw” competition on Sat. 11/30. You can even taste the heritage with Ha:San Preparatory and Leadership School, who will have traditional O’odham food for sale! Enjoy an authentic period fashion show on Saturday, presented by the Ladies of Tombstone, and see traditional handweaving demonstrations from the Tucson Handweavers and Spinners Guild! Grand Canyon Distillery will be releasing their new whiskey at our Heritage Festival – Star Shine American Single Malt Whiskey! There will be samplings during the event on 11/29 & 11/30 from Noon-3 p.m.!
