Dog Days of Summer & Guest Appreciation Weekend at Old Tucson!
Saturday, Sept. 3 thru Monday, Sept. 5, 2016!
Summer is on the wane (really!), school is back in session and Old Tucson’s season is drawing to a close. What better time to celebrate the dog days of summer and show our appreciation to the community for a great season?
Join Old Tucson for fabulous family fun over the final weekend of the season. Special activities for the celebration include:
- Free admission for kids ages 11 and under…and dogs of all ages
- PACC adoptions from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Saturday with dogs ready to move in to a home.
- McGruff the Crime Dog from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. each day of the event
- Pima County Sheriffs Canine Unit will conduct a demonstration at approx. 1 p.m. on Sunday.
Old Tucson will donate $1 from each regular adult paid admission over the weekend to the Pima Animal Care Center.
These special guests join Old Tucson’s signature activities: live musical, stunt and comedy shows; living history presentations; historic site tours; and rides for the young and young-at-heart including the train, antique cars, and vintage carousel. (Stagecoach and trail rides are available for an additional fee.)
Join Old Tucson for the Dog Days of Summer Guest Appreciation Weekend! Admission for adults (ages 12 and over) is $17.95 plus tax with free admission for children ages 11 and younger! Event hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sunday, and Labor Day. (Admission gate closes at 4 p.m.).
