Old Tucson

Friday November 9 – Sunday, November 11

Old Tucson is celebrating Veteran’s Day all weekend long with:

  • Free admission Friday – Sunday for all active military and veterans!
  • A special military flag parade to honor our veterans and military

Join Old Tucson as we salute our veterans and military!

  1. I have been looking through the info that you have online about Old Tucson. As a child, my mother used to purchase some kind of pass that allowed us to come to Old Tucson whatever day we were able to for one price for the entire year–a great deal for a large family!
I wish so much that there was more detailed information provided so that those who have not yet had the opportunity to spend time there would be excited to get out there and see for themselves how much there is to offer everyone, from young children to grandparents! Some of my fondest childhood memories are from days that our family spent at Old Tucson. New things to see each visit, fun shows to watch, all in the setting of the beautiful desert.

  2. Sadly, my father – who served in the air force during peace time passed away this year. I plan to visit Old Tucson this Friday with my boyfriend. I know he will be there in spirit. He enjoyed living part-time in Arizona and although this will be an emotional visit for me, I think it is the perfect weekend to visit. He had trouble walking during the last couple of years of his life so he was not able to get around as much but I know he would have enjoyed spending time here as we will. God Bless You for doing this for the Veterans and their families.

  3. I am a volunteer driver with the Tuscon VA Blind Rehabilitation Center. In the past we have brought a group of visually impaired veterans to Old Tuscon on a Saturday and they have enjoyed the visit. Normally we have a group, such as an Elks Lodge who covers the cost of admission for the veterans. However, we are planning on visiting today, November 10 to take advantage of the Veterans Day event. We will have approximately 15 visually impaired veterans as well as volunteer drivers and VA staff members. I am looking forward to the visit but anticipate that there will be more people visiting today than during our previous visits. Thank you for doing the special events for the Veterans of the United States Military Forces.
