Celebrate Arizona’s 108th birthday all weekend long with the Arizona Sonora Western Heritage Foundation and Old Tucson! Arizona residents enjoy Buy One/Get One admission, living history presentations, and live Old West entertainment. There will be a special flag ceremony held to honor Arizona’s birthday, including the proclamation of Arizona’s Statehood. Come on out and help us celebrate and honor this important moment in Arizona’s history!
Arizona Civil War Days
February 15 – 16
The North & South come together at Old Tucson, with encampments, battles and demonstrations, all weekend long! See life in the Arizona Territory during the Civil War, and re-live battles with the Battle of Golden Gate Peak. This exciting and educational event is presented by the Arizona Sonora Western Heritage Foundation and includes presentations and demonstrations from the Arizona Civil War Council and Southwest Living History Association.
You can also stop by the soldiers’ camps and visit with them about what life was like for soldiers during the Civil War, and learn more about their encampments. Make sure to catch the battle reenactments each day!
NEW this year: Meet the descendants of the Hatfield & McCoy families: Ron McCoy, Judy Hatfield, Jack Hatfield and Reo Hatfield! Learn about the real history of these feuding families and how they came to make peace with one another. There will be special presentations about the family history, the feud’s role in the Civil War and more! Plus, book signings and meet and greets! Saturday night at 5 p.m. will be a special Hatfields & McCoys Celebration of Unity event featuring entertainment, an interactive panel discussion with the family members, and the signing of a new Declaration of Unity. All those in attendance will be able to sign!
Steampunk Wild Wild West Convention

Join us for the annual Wild Wild West Steampunk Convention at Old Tucson!
WWWC is America’s first and only Steampunk convention and festival that takes place in a western-themed town and amusement park. Concerts, street performers, special events, panels, workshops, rides, games, and much more are here for your enjoyment!
Old Tucson admission/Annual Passes includes some Steampunk activities. Select panels, workshops, and concerts require a convention pass, purchased through WWWC. To enjoy everything the convention has to offer, you can purchase passes or get more info here.
Spirit of the West Fest!

Dog Days of Summer
May 1 – 3
Welcome the Dog Days of Summer with all things canine! DockDogs diving competitions will take place all three days, with competitors competing in height, speed and distance. Amateurs can also sign up and test their dogs on the dock! Plus, we will have pet adoptions all weekend long, special canine demonstrations and doggie vendors. Old Tucson is dog-friendly year-round, so be sure to bring your four-legged friends and enjoy our signature western entertainment in addition to this event.

Join us May 9 – 10 for Mother’s Day Weekend! Women and girls of all ages get in FREE, plus all moms receive a free carnation (while supplies last. More info to come!

Celebrate Memorial Day and ‘Swing into Summer’ with FREE admission for kids 11 and under all weekend long! We will have kids games with prizes and pie eating contests in addition to our signature entertainment.
