Featuring four haunted walk-throughs, musical, comedy and stunt shows, psychics, the Strange Family Circus and more, there’s something for every age and scare level. Celebrate Western Heritage Thanksgiving Weekend!
November 29 – December 1
Join Old Tucson and the Arizona Sonora Western Heritage Foundation in celebrating our roots at the annual Western Heritage Festival, November 29 – December 1! In addition to our signature entertainment, guests can experience and learn from local cultural group demonstrations. Plus, Santa will be in the Old West to help us kick-off our Old Tyme Holidays!
Special guests include Power from the Past, who will have their collection of early-day engines, tractors and equipment on display. Plus, they will be making delicious homemade ice cream with their engines for guests to enjoy, as well as making jump ropes for kids! Also in attendance are the Sonoran Plein Air Painters, who will have original artworks for sale and a “Quick Draw” competition on Sat. 11/30. You can even taste the heritage with Ha:San Preparatory and Leadership School, who will have traditional O’odham food for sale! Enjoy an authentic period fashion show on Saturday, presented by the Ladies of Tombstone, and see traditional handweaving demonstrations from the Tucson Handweavers and Spinners Guild!
Grand Canyon Distillery will be releasing their new whiskey at our Heritage Festival – Star Shine American Single Malt Whiskey! There will be samplings during the event on 11/29 & 11/30 from Noon-3 p.m.!
This fun and educational event is great for the whole family. Come celebrate Arizona’s rich heritage with Old Tucson and the ASWH Foundation!

November 29 – December 31
Spend the Holidays at Old Tucson, Where the Spirit of the Old West Comes Alive! Starting November 29 and running through December 31 we will have a special Christmas musical, Christmas comedy show, classic Christmas song performances, visits from Santa Claus and general holiday cheer.

Kids Dollar Days
January 18 – 20
Celebrate the Martin Luther King Jr. three-day weekend at Old Tucson with $1 admission for all kids ages 11 and under! Enjoy special kids games and prizes in addition to our regularly scheduled signature entertainment. Plus, we’ll have $1 food and drink specials and a petting zoo!
There’s something for everyone at Old Tucson with stunt shows, musical revues, kiddie rides, delicious BBQ and more! Take advantage of this special admission weekend and spend time with your family at Old Tucson, Where the Spirit of the Old West Comes Alive!
February 9 – 10
Celebrate Arizona’s 108th birthday all weekend long with the Arizona Sonora Western Heritage Foundation and Old Tucson! Arizona residents enjoy Buy One/Get One admission, living history presentations, and live Old West entertainment. There will be a special flag ceremony held to honor Arizona’s birthday, including the proclamation of Arizona’s Statehood. Come on out and help us celebrate and honor this important moment in Arizona’s history!
Civil War Days
February 15 – 16
The North & South come together at Old Tucson, with encampments, battles and demonstrations, all weekend long! See life in the Arizona Territory during the Civil War, and re-live battles with the Battle of Golden Gate Peak.
This exciting and educational event is presented by the Arizona Sonora Western Heritage Foundation and includes presentations and demonstrations from the Arizona Civil War Council and Southwest Living History Association.
You can also stop by the soldiers’ camps and visit with them about what life was like for soldiers during the Civil War, and learn more about their encampments. Make sure to catch the battle reenactments each day!
Steampunk Wild Wild West Convention
March 6 – 8
Join us for the annual Wild Wild West Steampunk Convention at Old Tucson!
WWWC is America’s first and only Steampunk convention and festival that takes place in a western-themed town and amusement park. Concerts, street performers, special events, panels, workshops, rides, games, and much more are here for your enjoyment!
