Old Tucson Announces the Return of A Western Experience with New Live Entertainment in January 2024
TUCSON, AZ., Jan. 19, 2024 – Old Tucson is proud to return in 2024 with an all-new A Western Experience event. This immersive adventure transports guests to the Old West, featuring stunt shows, gunfights, amusement rides, and Wild West attractions.
A Western Experience operates on select dates from Jan. 20 to May 12, 2024, welcoming guests from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm each operating day. Tickets are $39 for Adults and ages 13+ and $24 for ages 5-12. Admission includes all attractions, shows, games, and rides. Parking is free for all guests.
A Western Experience Presents: The Legends of The Wild West
At A Western Experience, guests will come face-to-face with real-life legends of the Wild West. Through live entertainment, Old Tucson brings Calamity Jane, Billy the Kid, Belle Starr, Cole Younger, Wild Bill Hickock, Jesse James, Pat Garrett, and Wyatt Earp to life.
An Exciting Itinerary-Packed Visit
Old Tucson will unveil two new shows. The live-action gunfights in the Town Square will contain interactive activity where guests choose who duels at High Noon. Lighting up the Grand Palace, the new and original theatrical performance, “The Ballad of Bonney Will,” tells the “truer than most” story of Billy the Kid.
In addition, the park presents the hilarious Annie Can Can-Can show, Zamloch the Great’s mesmerizing magic show, and the Cowpoke Campfire Storytime.
Be sure to be on the lookout for an encounter with the illusive James Gang as they rob one of the park’s treasured locations. Participating guests will take part in the search for the missing gold at the Iron Door Gold Mine.

Dining, Retail, and Photography
There are several dining options inside the Old Tucson, from light snacks and beverages to filling meals. Big Jakes BBQ serves the famous smoked brisket and pulled pork. For delicious tacos and quesadillas, head to Rosa’s, and the Cowboy Cafe will treat burger cravings with all the fixings. Check out Phoebe’s homemade fudge, candied apples, and more for desserts.
Old Tucson merchandise will be available throughout the park, including Olsen’s and the Corner Store. To capture a memory that lasts a lifetime, visit the photography studio for a vintage portrait.
